Scientists of our university are awarded the title Engineer of the Year-2018
Graduates of the doctoral scientific school of the department of building materials, products and structures BSTUnamed after V.G. Shukhov - professors Lyudmila Suleymanova, Natalia Chernysheva and Lyubov Shakhov were awarded the title of laureate of the contest “Engineer of the Year-2018”.
Doctoral dissertation head. The Department of Construction and Municipal Economy Lyudmila Suleymanova is dedicated to the issues of identifying patterns of formation processes of cellular concrete and developing principles for improving the efficiency of non-autoclaved aerated concrete through the use of composite binders.
The direction of scientific activity of Natalia Chernysheva, professor of the department of building materials science, products and designs, is the development of the theoretical bases for increasing the efficiency of production and use of waterproof and frost-resistant gypsum composite materials; integrated use of mineral and man-made resources for the production of building materials.
Professor Lyubov Shakhova organized and led large-scale pilot tests of process additives at 17 cement enterprises of the Russian Federation, Belarus and Uzbekistan. With the participation of Lyubov Dmitrievna, more than 12 cement plants are currently using technological additives, which allows enterprises to save large amounts of gas fuel and electricity.
