Carting Championship united universities of different regions
The winter carting championship among the institutes of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov was held on the closed track of the Virazh ASC. at the "Rector's Cup", as well as the championship between the universities of the regions.
The competition was opened by the rector of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov –prof.Sergey Glagolev, congratulating the participants on the start of the championship, wishing bright victories and productive races. Sergey Nikolaevich took part in the competition as part of the teaching staff team (PPS) and showed the best time of one round.
The teams “SRT-1", "TTI", "SRT-2", "AI", "PPS", "ISI", "ITOM", "IEITUS", "IEM", “KhTI”, “Institute of Magistracy” and “Foreign students”. The battle was spectacular and full of emotion. The leaders began to be determined by the results of qualifying races, but the last contribution was made by the final competition.

1st place - Dmitry Shtepa (“IEITUS”),
2 place - Artem Kolesnikov ("TTI"),
3rd place - Sergey Kushchenko (“PPS”);
"Team test":
1st place - "TTI"
2nd place - “IEITUS”
3rd place - "PPP".
Lilia Kushchenko was recognized as the fastest pilotessa, and Dmitry Shtepa the Fastest Pilot.

Elena Duganova was recognized as the fastest pilotessa, and Mikhail Kuzmin was the fastest pilot.
Championship winners were awarded with cups, medals and diplomas.
