Diploma Golden Department of Russia awarded one of the oldest departments of the University
The Department of Construction and Municipal Economy was awarded the title “Golden Department of Russia”. The successes and achievements of the department became the basis for obtaining high status. The competition commission of the national program “The Golden Fund of Russian Science”, which is held under the auspices of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, awarded the department of construction and urban economy of the BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov for merits in the development of national education diploma "Golden Department of Russia."
In its modern state, the Department of SGH has a highly qualified staff, a modern educational and scientific laboratory base, information and educational support in all readable disciplines. The teachers of the department have high rates of publication activity: articles in research, including foreign publications, teaching aids, monographs, methodological developments on course and diploma projects, laboratory workshops, educational and industrial practices.
For reference: the department of construction and urban economy is among the oldest in the university. For almost half a century, the department has made a great contribution to the training of engineers for the construction and housing and communal complexes. Today, graduates of the department of different years work not only in all regions of Russia, but also in the CIS countries and abroad. The total number of graduates of the department exceeded 10 thousand.
