The regional stage of the All-Russian Physics Olympiad gathered 180 high school students
On the basis of the flagship university – BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov - passed the regional stage of the All-Russian Olympiad in Physics. 180 high school students of the Belgorod region took part and tested their strength, of which 70 were from Belgorod.
The Olympiad was held in 2 stages, the first one was theoretical, the second one was experimental. In the first round, students in grades 7–8 had 4 tasks, and children in grades 9–11 had to solve 5 theoretical problems. In the second round, the schoolboy needed to do several experiments with the help of which practical problems were solved. According to the expert commission, the tasks were quite complex, but the students coped with them.
Elena Khomenko, the head of the educational activities support department of the Belgorod Region Education Department, said: “Technologist” has been not the first year to become a venue for this kind of Olympiad. This is influenced by several factors: firstly, the teaching and laboratory base of the department of physics is at a high level, and secondly, due to the fact that the university is technical, physics is just one of the directions of your future applicants. ”
After the hard four-day work of the commission, the smartest physicists were identified, and they will be able to adequately defend the honor of the region at the All-Russian stage.
