Winners of the Olympiad - future researchers - have benefits for admission to university
Flagship University – BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov - held a school competition "Future researchers - the future of science." Recall that the winners and prize-winners of the Olympiad for entering higher education institutions enjoy the benefits provided by the legislation of the Russian Federation.
The center for pre-university training and the institute for organizing and managing recruitment conducted preliminary rounds of the Olympiads “Future Researchers - Future of Science” (BIBN) for students in grades 7–11: November 11 in mathematics, November 18 in physics and December 16 in chemistry.
Preliminary tours were held at lyceum No. 10, Shukhovsky Lyceum and Belgorod Engineering Youth Boarding School. Schoolchildren from the Besonov school, the Center for Giftedness (the city of Stary Oskol and Chernyanskaya School No. 1), as well as from Gubkin, Alekseyevka, Prokhorovka, Borisovka, Korocha, Volokonovka, Novy Oskol and Biryuch took part in the competitions. The qualifying round in chemistry was attended by students from the Kursk and Voronezh regions.
In the preliminary round participated:
- in mathematics - 876 people
- in physics - 520 people,
- in chemistry - more than 500 people.
“Last academic year, according to the results of the BIBN Olympiad admitted to the second round, the university received more than 30 people. This Olympiad is popular among schoolchildren of the Belgorod region, so the guys take part in it for 5 years, starting from the 7th grade, ”said the center of pre-university training.
The final stages of the BIBN Olympiad in 2019 will be held:
- math - February 10,
- on physics - January 27,
- in chemistry on February 24 (25).
For reference: the Olympiad "Future Researchers - the Future of Science" at the university has been held since 2000 and was included in the list of schoolchildren Olympiads under No. 22.
