Visit of the Rector of Graduate School of Engineers in Ales (France)
On February 9 the Rector of Graduate Engineering School in Ales (France) visited Belgorod State Shukhov Technological University. Mr Alain Dorizon arrived to Belgorod on an official visit, with the purpose to get acquainted with our university and to conclude an agreement for the development of scientific and technological cooperation between BSTU and Graduate Engineering School in Ales (France). Traditionally the visitor laid flowers to the monument to a prominent Russian engineer V.G Shukhov, after which he was met by BSTU Rector Professor S. Glagolev. During the meeting they discussed important aspects of future mutual cooperation.
Graduate Engineering School in Ales is located in Languedoc-Roussillon region (Montpellier Academy). The educational institution was founded in 1843 and represents one of the most renowned and esteemed engineering schools. Graduate Engineering School is a member of the Conference of Graduate Schools. The major areas include risk management, environmental engineering, materials and mechanical engineering, information technology. The integral part of the curriculum are management, innovation, establishment and management of enterprises. The Graduate Engineering school maintains an active international activity with Germany, Austria, Canada, Russia and other countries throughout the world.
