The diploma of an IT specialist obtained at the university is recognized in Australia
A graduate of the Department of Information Technology (Bachelor) applied for recognition of the diploma in the Australian agency ACS (Australian Computer Society).
ACS analyzed the content and scope of study of the disciplines taught at the Department of Information Technology at a flagship university – BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov - and issued a conclusion on their compliance with the Australian Qualification Framework (AQF) standards - the scale of professional qualifications adopted in the state.
“Recognition of diplomas in Australia is an individual procedure, but since there is already a precedent and our diploma is listed in the database of diplomas recognized in Australia, subsequent applications will also be successful,” commented the department.
ACS is a non-profit organization that assesses foreign computer science diplomas and decides whether they should be recognized or not.
