Belgorod Airport may be named after Shukhov
On the basis of sociological surveys, the final list of candidate names for 47 Russian airports, including Belgorod, was published in the expert council of the nationwide project “Great Names of Russia”.
In Belgorod, the contenders were Nikolai Vatutin, Alexey Maresiev and Vladimir Shukhov.
Until November 30, anyone can vote for one name on the basis of one vote - one airport - one name. You can vote on the site Velikiemena.rf, on the social networks of the project in Odnoklassniki and VKontakte, by the hotline number: 8-800-707-93-17.
The Russian Geographical Society, Russian Historical Society, Russian Military Historical Society, Public Chamber of Russia, Moscow Patriarchate became the organizers of the project “Great Names of Russia”.
