Сourses on the training of traffic police inspectorsstarted at BSTU
On the basis of the flagship university, the opening of advanced training courses under the program “Implementation of federal control over the technical condition and operation of vehicles” for employees of the traffic police department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Belgorod Region was held.
In the current academic year 90 inspectors will pass courses on two programs: “Traffic Management” (for inspectors of road supervision) and “Implementing federal control over the technical condition and operation of vehicles” (for inspectors for technical supervision).
The rector of the university, Professor Sergey Glagolev, opened the courses. He noted that the cooperation of the university and the management of traffic police continue to actively develop and for both sides it is of great importance.
“I am confident that the acquired knowledge of the staff will be able to use in the field of supervisory activities in their territories services, striving to improve road safety, reduce accidents on the roads of Belgorod Oblast and improve the quality of transport services for the population of the region,” the rector said.
Courses are held at the base of the department of operation and organization of traffic of the university. Head of Department, Associate Professor Ivan Novikov said: “After training, students update the necessary knowledge of the regulatory framework in the field of technical regulation. Specialists will gain knowledge of modern equipment, instrumentation and tools needed to verify the technical condition of technical regulation facilities. ”
The opening of the courses was attended by the head of the UGIBDD UMVD of Russia in the Belgorod Region, police colonel Nikolai Smolyakov, and the head of the supervision department Andrei Kravchenko. Andrei Alekseevich, stressed that the training is carried out in the framework of the existing agreement on cooperation between the university and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Belgorod region. Since 2013, within the framework of this agreement, more than 250 inspectors of the regional traffic police have been trained at the university.
