BSTU named after V.G.Shukhov will cooperate with Shandong University of China
The delegation of Shandong University of Public Administration (China) visited the flagship university with a working visit. The meeting was initiated by the Chinese side.
Representatives of the leadership of the Chinese University, headed by First Secretary Mr. FengQinlu, met with the rector, Professor Sergey Glagolev.
The parties signed a memorandum of intent between two universities. The document provides for cooperation in all areas of scientific, industrial, educational and cultural activities of mutual interest.
“We will start cooperation with the exchange of scientific articles published by our scientists in the Scopus and Web of Science databases and of mutual interest. In the future, we will build concrete communications across the entire spectrum of bilateral cooperation with Chinese colleagues, ”said prof. Sergey Glagolev.
The implementation of the signed document involves the implementation of joint scientific, educational and innovative projects, including through international grants and programs, the preparation of joint training courses and programs for the training of Russian and Chinese students, as well as the creation of double degree programs or professional certificates -educational training, recognized in both countries, holding joint scientific conferences, seminars, student and teaching exchange, intern School, summer schools and more.
During the study tour of the campus of the university, the Chinese got acquainted with the scientific, innovative and sports infrastructure.
Note that BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov is a full member of the Association of Technical Universities of Russia and China, and is already cooperating with Dalian University of Foreign Languages, Harbin Polytechnic University, Tianjin University of Foreign Languages, Hulunbuir Institute.
