Ethical issues of the «digital community» were discussed at BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov
The International Scientific and Practical Conference “Artificial Intelligence: “Ethical Problems of the Digital Society” was held at the flagship university – BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov.
Uniting the intellectual efforts of humanitarian and technical scientists working within the framework of this problem, as well as analyzing the organizational capacities of universities interested in developing promising projects related to the phenomenon of artificial intelligence systems was the main goal of this event.
Vice Rector for Academic Affairs of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov, Professor Vladimir Polyakov emphasized that this conference is a continuation of scientific cooperation with leading scientists in the field of artificial intelligence, as evidenced by the holding of a large forum on artificial intelligence together with institutes of the Russian Academy of Sciences in 2012.
It should be noted that the problem of interdisciplinary research of artificial intelligence today is one of the most relevant, promising and developed both in Russia and abroad. The words of the President of Russia Vladimir Putin about the need for innovative developments in this area at a meeting with the rectors of leading Russian universities in St. Petersburg in September 2018 proved it.
