Friendship with Serbia will endure: the delegation of the city of Niš visited the university
A delegation from the twin city of Belgorod - Niš (Republic of Serbia) made an official visit to the flagship university on October 5.
According to the tradition, representatives of the administration and guests of the university laid flowers at the monument to V.G. Shukhov on the university square.
The meeting of representatives from Serbia with the university administration and the staff of the Serbian resource center took place at the hall of the academic council. During the working meeting with the participation of Vice-Rector for Cultural, Educational and Social Work Irina Avilova, they discussed prospects for further development of relations and cooperation, possible joint activities. The parties are aimed at preserving culture and developing relations between countries.
Professor of the Faculty of Economics and Chairman of the Managing Council of the Nish Student Cultural Center, Ognjen Petrović suggested possible forms of cultural cooperation with students of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov. Colleagues invited the Technologist's folklore ensemble to visit the city of Niš and other cities of Serbia, to take part in upcoming festivals.
