Students of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov - prize-winners of competitions in fire-rescue sports
Voluntary fire brigade of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov took part in the IV Open Interregional Championship of Tambov State Technical University for Fire and Rescue Sports among student teams. 18 teams from Belgorod, Lipetsk and Tambov regions took part in the competitions which were held in Tambov.
BSTU Team took part in these competitions for several years. The students of the Department of Emergency Protection are Andrey Pankratov (captain of the team), Sergey Denisov, Lenur Durnev, Egor Borisov, Dmitry Petrov, Evgeny Lezhaysky, Stanislav Grigorovich, Andrey Kuzubov, Olga Panarina and Marina Bondarenko.
Team leaders - senior lecturer of the Department of Defense in Emergency Situations Daria Vasyutkina and the head of the patriotic club "Rescuer" Ivan Zhernokleev.
The competitions consisted of several stages: "Business card", "Fighting relay race", "To save the injured" and personal championship among team captains. Based on the results of all the stages, the team of the flagship university of the Belgorod region took the 3rd place.
