Forum of International Students and Graduates of Russian Universities-2018
From 5 to 7 October, the Forum of Foreign Students and Graduates of Russian Universities-2018 will be held at Vladimir State University named after Alexander and Nikolay Stoletovs with the support of the World Association of Graduates. It is held in the framework of the federal grant «Rosmolodezh».
More than 150 people will take part in the events of the forum - students, graduates, young scientists and specialists, representatives of national associations of graduates of Russian universities from Europe, the Middle East, Asia, Africa, and the CIS.
During the forum session, foreign students and graduates will discuss issues of social and professional interaction with Russia. The main goal of the event is the development of integration processes in the system of "graduate-university" relations, the promotion of Russian education and national cultural values abroad, the strengthening of international educational and scientific cooperation, the retranslation of progressive methods for the formation and development of human resources for building an international career, creation of new associations of graduates of Russian universities in foreign countries.
The organizers set a number of important tasks: attracting prospective foreign youth to the implementation of Russian and international social and economic projects, developing a culture of creative interethnic relations among the youth, promoting the dissemination of the Russian language and national cultural values abroad, and facilitating professional adaptation of foreign graduates of Russian universities in their homeland.
The program of the forum includes discussion and educational sites. Actual directions of international cooperation will be discussed at round tables: "International reputation of a flagship university in the conditions of transition to a global digital economy" and "International career in the context of globalization of the labor market". Young Russian and foreign specialists will have an opportunity to improve their skills in class at the school-seminar "Advanced practices of interaction between universities and graduates in the context of the internationalization of education". VLU lecturers develop a special electronic training course with elements of augmented reality for participants. An online translation of the main events of the forum via the Internet will be organized.
