All-Russian Festival of Folk Culture «Printed Patterned Round Dance in bast shoes»
From 1 to 2 September BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov will take part in the III All-Russian Festival of Folk Culture "Printed Patterned Round Dance in bast shoes".
The festival is recognized as the best event in the region, included in the regional festival and national event calendar, twice became the world record holder, having collected more than 25 000 people in the round-the-clock series.
The festival is intended to become a platform for the implementation of joint brand events, exchange of experience, cooperation in the sphere of domestic tourism industry.
The festival collects massive patterned round dances and is the first to drive the so-called "curve of tanks", the first to get by mass character and pattern in the book of records of the Planet and the first in the region to deserve the honorary title of the round-dance capital of Belogorye.
THE PROGRAM OF THE FESTIVAL
1st of September: All-Russian costume round dance parade "Street round dances - crooked tanks"; All-Russian reconstruction of a round-shaped ornament "Horovodnye patterns of Russia"; All-Russian festival-concert "Musical patterns of Russia"; performance of the folk group "Yarilov Znoy" (Moscow); the record of the planet "The largest wicker tower"; the platform of inter-regional festival "Play the Accordion!"; city festival "Shukhov open air"; art-playground "The biggest Graivoronskaya rozka"; "The best masters and craftsmen of Russia"; cotton and bast shoes craft streets; "The Best Harmonists of Russia"; competitions, games, fun.
2nd of September: All-Russian scientific forum "Cities and towns of border regions", which will unite municipal employees, leaders of public organizations, experts and scientists, representatives of civil society from various regions of the Russian Federation, CIS countries and the European Union interested in developing intermunicipal and cross-border cooperation.
Location: the town of Grayvoron is a small historical town with enough developed infrastructure, where you can easily get to the regional center, and also stay in hotels and guest houses, visit cultural and historical attractions, buy a souvenir for memory. Various tourist routes have been developed for this purpose.
