Professor of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov was invited as an expert of the sectoral catalogues
Head of the department of Real estate assessment and management of the flagship university Andrey Naumov took part in the presentation of the 4th edition of the catalog of environmentally friendly construction and finishing materials GREEN BOOK.
On July 25, with the support of the Committee on Ecology and Nature Management of All Russian public organization Business Russia, the fourth edition of the GREEN BOOK catalog was presented.
The event was attended by manufacturers of building materials, representatives of profile associations, banks, environmental certification systems and the media. The coordinator of the project GREEN BOOK - Eco Standard group was the organizer of the event. Within the framework of the presentation, a working meeting of the expert group was held, which includes the head of the department of expertise and property management, the head of the department of research works of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov Andrey Naumov.
Andrey Naumov estimated the project for the fact that it actively interacts with the regions, attracts universities to work and ecologizes one of the largest economic sectors of Moscow - the construction one.
The GREEN BOOK catalog includes sections on various categories of building and finishing materials: concrete mixtures and mortars, windows, floor coverings, partition walls, wall, heat and sound insulation materials, pipes, modular ceilings, sound absorbers and suspended ceiling systems, chemicals for different purposes and others. GREEN BOOK is available free of charge in the electronic version.
For reference: GREEN BOOK was established under the instructions of the Chairman of the Government D. A. Medvedev on the results of the meeting on May 17, 2013 of the Presidium of the Council on Economic Modernization and Innovative Development of the President of Russia. The catalog is the first step to introduce into the legislation the environmental criteria for the products of the construction sector.
