Representatives of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov signed 25 agreements on cooperation with universities
Delegation of the regional flagship university of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov including vice-rector for international activities prof. Ruslan Lesovik and Deputy Director of the Center for International Education and Cooperation prof. Yasser Allaham presented the university at the international Arab-Asian conference, which was held at the International Malaysian University with the support of the Association of Arab Universities.
The delegation of the rectors of the Arab countries was headed by the Secretary General of the Association of Arab Universities, Honorary Professor of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov - dr. Sultan T. Abu-Orabi.
74 rector of the countries of the Arab world and countries of Southeast Asia attended the forum. Colleagues discussed improvements in the quality of education, criteria for assessing the accreditation of higher education institutions.
During the conference, representatives of BSTU signed 25 agreements on cooperation with the universities of Maldives, Indonesia, Malaysia, Libya, Syria, India, Somalia, etc.
The Malaysian side is ready to send professors to give lectures for students studying in the English program.
The parties also discussed the possibility of publishing articles by leading scientists in international journals.
