University was awarded a high PR-factor in 2018
According to the results of work for the year a PR-factor 8 assigned to the flagship university of the Belgorod region - BSTU. V.G. Shukhov. The university was included in the group of leader universities of the annual All-Russian competition project «MEDIAactivity of Russian Universities», organized by the publishing house «Accreditation in Education».
St. Petersburg Polytechnic University, Belgorod National Research University, Siberian State Aerospace University, Altai State University, etc are in this group.
PR-factor is an integral evaluation of the effectiveness of the university's information policy. The expert group analyzed the general level of the information presence of educational organizations and their leaders on various media "sites" on the Internet (VK, YouTube, Facebook, Odnoklassniki, Twitter, Instagram, Telegram), personal media activity of rectors (question-answer, site / blog, interview etc.), event media activity of universities (conferences, briefings, meetings, etc.), the publication activity of universities in traditional media (newspapers, magazines, radio, television).
Since June 2017, the head of the public relations center (press service of the university) is Artem Mikhailovich Yakovchuk.
