Student activity chair visited the State Duma
Activists of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov visited the State Duma of Russia and learned about the history of the lower chamber of the parliament, visited the plenary session where laws were examined, met with the State Duma deputy from the Belgorod region Sergey Bozhenov.
The excursion began with an examination of the exposition on the work of the State Duma, where numerous photographs of historical figures from different eras were presented. Then the students visited the parliamentary library - the main storehouse of parliamentary knowledge.
Activists were introduced to the location in the State Duma of four major factions (United Russia, the LDPR, the Communist Party and A Just Russia). The students learned where and how the parliamentary parties work, where their meetings are held.
Being on the guest balcony of the hall of plenary sessions, activists of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov could observe the next meeting of deputies, where laws were examined.
As part of the tour, a meeting with State Duma deputy Sergey Bozhenov took place. The deputy spoke in detail about the activities of the committee on education and science, shared his opinion on the political situation in the country and in the world. Sergey Andreevich answered all the questions of interest.
