VI All-Russian Summer Universiade has concluded
The Student Palace of Culture hosted the closing ceremony of the Universiade.
This year, competitions were held in seven sports in nine sports disciplines. More than one and a half thousand students from 66 universities and 37 subjects of the Russian Federation took part.
Winners and prize-winners of the VI All-Russian Summer Universiade were:
volleyball (girls):
III place - Tambov State University named after G.R. Derzhavin (Tambov),
II place - Siberian State University of Physical Culture and Sports (Omsk),
I place - Ural State Economic University (Ekaterinburg);
volleyball (men):
III place - Moscow State Academy of Physical Culture (Moscow),
II place - Belgorod State National Research University (Belgorod),
I place - Volga State Academy of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism (Kazan);
rugby-7 (men):
III place - Siberian Federal University (Krasnoyarsk),
II place - Moscow Aviation Institute (Moscow),
I place - the Kuban State University of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism (Krasnodar).
After the awards ceremony, the main judge of the competition Taras Yuryevich Khtey in a solemn atmosphere announced the VI All-Russian Summer Universiade closed!
