A regional school of volunteers was launched at the flagship university
On July 4 the project «School of Volunteers BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov» launched in a solemn atmosphere at the flagship university of the Belgorod region.
Rector of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov, Professor Sergey Glagolev, Deputy Head of the Department for Internal and Personnel Policy of the Belgorod Region, Head of the Department for Youth Policy of the Region Andrey Chesnokov, Director of the «Center for Youth Initiatives» Alexander Popov signed the tripartite agreement on cooperation and joint activities, which are official documents for the implementation of this project.
Professor, president of the university, chairman of the council of rectors of the universities of the Belgorod region Anatoly Gridchin, vice-rector for cultural and educational and social work of the university Irina Avilova, deputy head of the youth policy department of the administration of Belgorod, head of the youth department Dmitry Kisilenko, volunteers of the regional resource Center for Volunteering in the Belgorod Region and BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov became the participants in the ceremony.
The signed agreement provides the development and support of the implementation of the volunteer movement in the country (2018 - the Year of Volunteer in Russia), administrative, expert and information support for the Volunteer School of the BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov, raising the prestige of the volunteer in the society, preserving and multiplying patriotic traditions, supporting and supporting socially significant initiatives, rendering assistance to the development of volunteer youth movement and much more.
It should be reminded that in the spring of 2018, within the framework of the annual interuniversity festival «Sacred Russia-4», the university team presented the project «School of Volunteers of the BSTU named after. V.G. Shukhov», and won the main prize.
The management of BSTU name after V.G. Shukhov with the support of the Belgorod Region Youth Policy Directorate, «Center for Youth Initiatives», Association of Volunteer Centers, decided to bring this project to implementation at the regional flagship university.
