International academic exchange of young scientists
The department of real estate assessment and management is involved in the implementation of the international cooperation programs for the exchange of experience and knowledge in the field of construction activities.
In the frameworks of IAESTE (International Association for the Exchange of Students for Technical Experience) the exchange of students and researchers of BSTU and universities of Germany is carried out. Last year, the senior lecturer of the department of real estate assessment and management Maria Krutilova held a short-term scientific training at the department of energy economics of the Brandenburg Technical University in Cottbus. For its part, our department received a student Moritz Erendreich from a German university (Rostock).
This year, the department of real estate assessment and management again provided an opportunity to exchange technical developments in the construction sector. This time they received a student Ludwig Werum from Aachen (Germany). At the moment, Ludwig Verme is getting his master’s degree at Rheinisch-Westfälische Technical University, which is a member of the association of the nine best technical universities in Germany, as well as five leading universities in Europe. The young man received a bachelor's degree in the field of «Civil Engineering» with a quite high average score. At the moment he is doing his master's degree program «Construction Management and Geotechnical Engineering».
Led by the head of the department of real estate assessment and management A.E. Naumov Ludwig worked on the analysis of the Russian and German experience of information modeling in construction. One of the results of the internship is a joint research and educational project on the introduction of new software products for Russia for parametric modeling of Rhinoceros and Grasshopper, as well as an improved methodology for creating spatial parametrizable models and design diagrams of building objects with a bundle of Grasshopper and ArchiCAD programs.
