The University showed steady growth in TOP-100 of the best universities of Russia
Rating agency RAEX (RAEX-Analytics) made up the seventh annual rating of Russian universities and the regular rating of the best schools in Russia on the competitiveness of graduates.
In comparison with the rating of 2017, the flagship university of Belgorod region strengthened its position by rising to TOP-100 of the best universities in Russia from 60 to 55 positions.
In addition, BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov entered the top 20 of the best Russian technical universities. The regional flagship university showed good dynamics and became the second after Moscow State University of Civil Engineering among the higher educational institutions of architecture and construction.
The purpose of rating the universities is to assess the ability to provide graduates with a high quality of knowledge, skills and abilities, based on the conditions for obtaining these data and the results of the application. The definition of the rating functional was taken from the analysis of the following factors: the conditions for obtaining a high-quality education in the university, the level of demand for graduates of higher education by employers, the level of research activity of the university.
When preparing the rating, statistical indicators were used, as well as survey results among 30,000 respondents: representatives of academic and scientific circles, students and graduates, employers.
