Rector of the regional flagship university of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov Professor Sergey Glagolev took part in the inauguration ceremony of President Vladimir Putin.
The celebration was held in the Andreevsky Hall of the Grand Kremlin Palace on May 7, 2018. The list of the present at the solemn inauguration ceremony is determined strictly by the service of the protocol of the President of Russia.
It should be reminded that Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin took office as head of state for a new six-year term. This will be his second term in a row and the fourth - since 2000. In 2018, Vladimir Putin won a confident victory in the election of the head of state, gaining a record 56 million votes (more than 76%).
According to media reports, 5,000 people attended the inauguration. Officials, cultural figures, well-known and respected persons, foreign guests, as well as volunteers and activists who participated in the election campaign of Vladimir Putin were invited to the ceremony.
