University handball players won the second prize at the All-Russian competitions
The first round of the All-Russian Handball Competitions among the men's teams of the higher league was held at the sports complex of the flagship university.
The four best teams of the higher league came out to the final and fought for the victory.
All competitions were held in a tense struggle. The team «Technolog-Spartak» won the first game against SKIF (Omsk) with a score of 34:33.
Sergey Kramskoy noted a good game of Dmitry Simonov, Alexander Belokopytov, Sergey Rusinov and Denis Zelensky.
«The guys from the middle level showed a good result. Young athletes sought to prove themselves in some games quite successfully».
The last round will be held from 11 to 13 May in Snezhinsk. Athletes will compete only with student teams, which is conditioned by the preparation for the Universiade of Russian universities.
