Science and business - a road to success
A meeting of the interdepartmental working group «Advanced Production Technologies» of the Council for Innovation and Technological Development of the Belgorod Region was held at the flagship university of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov.
Representatives of the leading universities of the region, large machine-building enterprises of the region and the Department of Economic Development of the region took part in the meeting.
The head of the working group is the vice-rector for scientific work of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov Evgeny Evtushenko presented the concept of the formation of a regional technological platform with the establishment of a system of strategic technological entrepreneurship at the universities.
Irina Korneichuk, First Deputy Head of the Department of Economic Development of the Belgorod Region, noted that the interdepartmental working group «Advanced Production Technologies» was established as a communication platform for business and science for the development of priority areas in the sphere of industrial production.
Within the framework of the discussion, the decision to develop effective ways of interaction between regional universities and industrial enterprises: the formulation by the business of problematic tasks, research requests for the scientific community and the formation of actual competencies in the training of personnel has been taken.
