Students visited the sapphires plant «Monocrystal»
On April 19, as part of the Coordinating Council of BSTU Employers, the Alumni Employment Center together with the employees of the Monocrystal factory organized an excursion for undergraduates of the Technology of Mechanical Engineering Department to the production sites of the plant (group supervisors - the Head of the department, Professor T.A. Duyun, leading engineers I.A. Teterin, V.E. Minasov and D.S. Baranov).
Director U.U. Buryak and specialist V.M. Novitskaya represented the Center for the Graduates Employment. Future graduates got acquainted with the peculiarities of production, the possibilities of internships, the prospects for employment and career growth at this enterprise during the course of the event.
The excursion program included a meeting with the Director - General D.A. Petrov, an excursion to the production of synthetic crystals, a meeting with representatives of the HR department.
Assistance to young professionals to have internship and pre-graduation practice with the possibility of subsequent employment was the main objective of the event. Following the meeting, BSTU students. V.G. Shukhov had been able to ask questions and discuss the possibilities of further employment in the plant with the company representatives.
