University startups became winners at the Open Innovations Startup Tour
The regional stage of the Open Innovations Startup Tour was held at the regional flagship university.
Within two days the leading experts of the Skolkovo Foundation together with well-known entrepreneurs, venture investors, mentors and business angels conducted educational events and mentoring sessions.
The startup competition was held on the second day where the results were summed up.
In the nomination «Information Technologies» the 3rd place was taken by the Chairman of the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists of the Belgorod Region, Associate Professor of the Department of Cybernetics of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov, director of «Recognizing Systems» Ltd. Dmitry Yudin with his project «Embedded Image Recognition System for Autonomous Vehicles».
The student of Master’s degree program of IPEITMS Vasiliy Stan with the project «Automatic Data Collection and Control System in Distributed Energy Resources Management Systems Based on LoRa Technology» took the 2nd place.
The 1st place was given to Yuri Maslakov, Director of «KIP BSNRU», and his project «Automated System for Analysis of Indicators and Stages of Plant Development in «In Vitro Conditions».
In the nomination «Industrial Track» the places were distributed as follows:
3rd place – «FerroPolymer» Ltd. («Polymer components for individual components of drilling pumps»).
2nd place – «Arc Engineering» Ltd. «The system of additive production of metal products ArcFusion».
1st place - the director of «Composite» Ltd. Alexander Babaevsky, who presented the project, developed jointly with another small innovative enterprise at BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov: «Center for Energy-Saving Technologies and Complexes» Ltd. (headed by Alexey Romanovich) - «High-efficiency energy-saving grinding-grinding complex for obtaining building materials «EnSavEquip».
In the nomination «Biotechnology in medicine and agriculture» the 3rd place was taken by Alexander Kudryavtsev, the 2nd - Alexey Vinokurov, «Mind Technology» Ltd., and the 1st - Roman Mamonov.
The winners received an invitation to the semifinal Startup Tour in Skolkovo.
The winners who took 1st place competed for the Grand Prix amount in 300 000 rubles.
As a result, the 1st place was given to Roman Mamonov with his project «Pesticides based on fullerene complexes». The 2nd place was taken by the project of Yuri Maslakov «Automated system for the analysis of indicators and stages of plant development in vitro». Alexander Babaevsky's project «High-efficiency energy-saving crushing and grinding complex for obtaining building materials «EnSavEquip» took the 3rd place.
The winners got the right to participate in the final of the Startup Village competition and the opportunity to win five million rubles from the Skolkovo Foundation to implement their projects.
