BSTU student became the winner of the gymkhana competition
On February 25, an open winter competition on motor sport «Autocross Belgorod» was held at the go – cart track of ACK «Virazh». The event is organized by the TEAM 31 auto club with the support of ACK «Virazh», BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov, Belrace Automobile Club (Belgorod), AISR Belgorod auto club and Kursk Central Automotive Club.
Contestants from Belgorod, Kursk, Lipetsk, Oboyan and Orel took part in this competition.
The competition was held in two classes - D2K (classics) and D2H (standard).
In the autocross class D2K the first place was taken by the BSTU graduate of the second year (Department of Traffic management and road safety) Valery Markin, who overtook six competitors from Kursk and Belgorod.
A participant from Voronezh took the first place in the autocross class.
The purpose of the event is the development and popularization of auto and motorcycle sports among children, youth and adults, as well as increasing the role of physical culture and motor sport in the full and harmonious development of the human person.
