The exhibition of Nikolay Korkin was launched at the university museum
Within the framework of the events dedicated to the 65th anniversary of the Belgorod region in the flagship university, the personal exhibition of the member of the Union of Artists of the Russian Federation Nikolay Korkin "Poetry of the native land" was held.
The new exposition is already the fourth exhibition of Nikolay Ignatyevich in the museum and exhibition complex of BSTU. It contains 20 paintings made by this artist.
This time, the landscape with the author's most loved views of the native land was chosen as subject.
The director of the museum and exhibition complex Tamara Konoreva shared: "These exhibitions - a gift of dedication of Belgorod artists to Belgorod region. And it is not just an ordinary painting, these work were made with reason. You can see our little river Vezelka, and recognizable ravines, and isthmuses, and some absolutely extraordinary landscapes at these paintings, such as a picture with a view from Pushkarny. You can feel the smell of the pine trees. The artist always carefully chooses outdoor scenes".
Nikolay Korkin points out: "I mostly paint Belgorod region, I love and appreciate it. I want to reveal the beauty of my native nature in my works. The nature is beautiful in its own way at different times, in any weather. Two compositions were painted this year among the presented paintings at this exhibition. On my canvases there is a lot of sky, a lot of water. If the landscape is summer, there will be many colors to feel warm and cozy. So I share what I see and feel".
The next exhibition at the flagship university, where the author plans to take part, will be devoted to the Day of Orthodox Youth.
