Sports fans celebrated Students Day with new achievements
During the celebration of the holiday of the Russian students sports competitions were organized by the Department of Physical Culture and Sports, not only students but also the teachers of the BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov took part.
Tatyana's day was very rich for sports fans. In the chess club a friendly tournament took place between students of different institutions and countries. In the gym were mini-football competitions with the support of the department for work with foreign students of the Center for International Education and Cooperation. Representatives of Asian and African countries met at the site to try their strength and identify the best players worthy of entering the foreign team. As a result of the intense struggle, the African team took first place. "Silver" went to the team of Angola, and representatives of Ghana got "bronze".
The holiday also became an occasion for the next stage of delivery of standards RWD. Employees of the Institute of Economics and Management demonstrated their abilities in swimming. A team of the Institute of Technological Equipment and Mechanical Engineering, headed by the Director of the Institute Sergei Latyshev pass the RWD standards on bullet shooting, all of which - to the gold badge.
Students and teachers have proved that the holidays can become an occasion for meetings and new achievements on sports grounds.
