Christmas came early for foreign students
BSTU student's palace of culture was crowded by students of the preparatory faculty for foreign citizens and their curators who were celebrated New Year and Christmas.
The festive program was held with all the traditional performances. Teachers of the faculty prepared thematic sketches about Santa Claus. Students had to perform various comic assignments from the Snow Maiden, Pirate, Fox, Baba-Yaga. Funny contests, dance and vocal assignments caused a lot of positive emotions among students.
The students of the preparatory faculty also prepared creative plays. Students from Syria, Nigeria, Ghana and Cote d'Ivoire presented their traditional national dances at the festival and sang songs in Russian, English and their native languages.
Dean of the preparatory faculty for foreign citizens made a congratulatory speech and summarized the recent contest of New Year's cards. She praised the foreigners for the prepared numbers and thanked all participants of the contest cards. All participants of the competition received letters and memorable gifts.
