BSTU extends cooperation with Polish universities
On the 3rd of September representative of the Lodz Polytechnic University (Poland) Marek Klich arrived in the BSTU named after V.G. A Shukhov.
For the Polish visitor, a tour of the university was organized with a visit to the museum, an inspection of sports facilities, a student campus, and a high-tech center. Also, Mr. Klich visited the departments - building materials science, products and constructions, mechanical equipment, materials science and materials technology.
Representative of the University of Lodz during a meeting with the rector of our university- prof. S.N. Glagolev spoke about the activities of his university, which trains more than 17.5 thousand students. The University of Lodz cooperates on a program of double diplomas with 520 universities from 65 countries.
During the meeting with the leadership of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov touched upon the issues of teaching and student exchange, the possibility of obtaining double diplomas. Also, a preliminary agreement was reached on the exchange of students in the summer language schools of both universities.
It should be noted that BSTU already cooperates with several Polish universities. In particular, the graduate of our university can receive the second diploma in the Opole Polytechnic University and the Higher School of Informatics and Economics in Olsztyn.
