Awards to Architects in Azerbaijan
Head of the Department of Architecture and Urban Planning, PhD Margarita V. Perkova returned from Baku, where from 16 to 19 October an international architectural design contest was held. The contest embraced works submitted by 23 schools of architecture, 500 representatives from different parts of Russia, CIS and foreign countries. Margarita Perkova appreciates the results of participation in competitive events. The Department Head was impressed by original architecture of the sunny capital of Azerbaijan, exquisite details, used in the interior and in decoration of buildings. It was also interesting to communicate with colleagues, including those who came from abroad. Agreements on cooperation have been reached with architects from Florence (Italy).
