New year celebrations in a Russian way
New year for each of us is an especially long-awaited and favorite event. In these early days of January I, people want to have fun, give gifts, to participate, as used to be in Russia for long, in dances and carols. Chinese students studying at BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov and Belgorod Institute of Arts and Culture could recently get acquainted with the history of the New Year in Russia.
Hao Jinquian (Chian), a post-graduate student at BSTU arranged for his fellow-students a cultural event to a night of Russian instrumental music , which took place in Belgorod Philharmonic. Then the whole group of students watched a touching cartoon " Ivan Tsarevich and the Grey Wolf -2 ", created by Russian animators.
As the head of «Work and Study»- firm that promotes ties between Russia and China, and also provides an opportunity to get training courses and internships in institutions of Russia and China , Chian believes that such events give the students from China a deeper understanding of the tradition and culture of Russia . The young man offers Chinese students to attend events devoted to Russian culture and for the Russian students - events, telling about China .
Chinese students will be involved in visiting museums and attractions the city of Belgorod. The Russian students in the near future will have the opportunity to participate in a festival – meeting the Chinese New Year .
