Russian lessons of Alize Butare
A fifth-year student of the Institute of Polytechnic Sciences Alize Butare from the French city of Laval is being trained in BSTU named after V.G .Shukhov. Before coming to Belgorod the young lady has travelled over a half of the world with her parents, and has travelled from Moscow to Vladivostok. A huge country with its dramatic history and a great culture charmed the young Frenchwoman.
Today the city of Belgorod became Alize`s home for a while. Everyone who knows this girl, likes her sociability, openness, a sense of humor. She herself says that she is lucky because she lives in a dormitory. Her neighbour is Natalia Gaina, chief expert on youth work. Girls talk a lot, to share their thoughts on various issues. This helps them not only to get to know each other, but also to understand the mentality of both countries.
With special warmth Alize speaks about the teachers of the Preparatory faculty for foreign citizens. One of them - Raisa Romanovna Borzykh endears her love for the Russian language, literature and culture.
Alize is not studying Russian only, but also participates in the organization of the activities of the French club at French and German Center, she is making her own contribution to the rapprochement of the two cultures. At the meetings of the club, students cook national dishes, celebrate important French holidays, take part in discussions. Alize wants students studying French to carry love for France throughout their lifetime. France is a country that has given the great writers, poets, artists, public figures and scientists to the world. But when she returns home, she will certainly never forget the lessons learned in Russia.
