Singing awards
The Students Art Centre of Balgorod State Technological University named after V.G. Shukhov hosted an annual song festival. The festival is special, the contestants have to play the guitar and perform a song, where both music and lyrics are written by students themselves.
This really requires creative abilities, skills and, of course, talent. Our foreign students have them in abundance, which allowed them to take the highest awards again.
Klive Piri (Zambia), Angie Amahoru (Indonesia) and Guilherme Muhongo (Angola) tried their best to distinguish themselves among experienced Russian contestants.
Klive Piri from Zambia is an award winner of many contests starting from patriotic song contest to the regional artistic students festival. This time he also showed his sence of music, transforming his feelings to the audience.
Everyone was fascinated by the performance given by Angie Amahoru from Indonesia, who is now completing her studies at the university. Her charm did not leave anybody indifferent as this contest traditionally attracts gentlemen rather than ladies.
At the end the contest organizers and the Board of judges warmly congratulated the foreign participants and wished them a success.
