Prepared to cooperate with French entrepreneurs (October 24, 2012 )

On October 13 BSTU was visited by a representative of the Chamber of Commerce of Northern France, Consultant for International Development CCI International Nord de France Renata Plume.

The guests' visit took place as part of her acquaintance with the enterprises and organizations of the Central Federal District, in order to develop mutually beneficial cooperation. Renate Plume has already been to Kaluga and Voronezh regions. In Belgorod region the guest visited a construction enterprise ” Aerobel” confectionary" Slavanka ", enterprises of agriculture.

At BSTU the First vice- rector of the University, Prof. N.A. Shapovalov acquainted the visitors with a permanent exhibition of innovation developments made by the university scientists. Great interest was shown to the models of houses of individual housing construction, expertise of urban policies of individual towns, energy-saving technology of building materials, road surface improvements and modernization of the transport network, and more. Renate Plume spoke about the development of small, innovative companies in the university.

    
The guest had a tour of the campus, which made a favorable impression on a consultant for International Development CCI International Nord de France. Then Renata Plume able to have informal communication with a representative of the university.
Currently, French businessmen are interested in developing ties with cities in Russia, and a guest is preparing proposals and recommendations for the organization. Development of direct economic contacts with the cities of Western Europe have significant benefits for all the participants of the process, including the development of technical education.
