Visit of the delegation from Germany represented by the managing director of Heller Ingenieurgesellschaft mbH, Dr. Slawomir Heller, managing director of TUV Rheinland Schniering GmbH in Essen Dr. Hermann Meier zu Farwig , project manager of TUV Rheinland Schniering GmbH in Essen, engineer Aziz Bourdane, ended with signing of a Letter of intent.
The document signed envisages extending the cooperation with the German colleagues in the scientific and educational spheres.

Commenting on his three-day stay in Belgorod, Dr. Slawomir Heller said: "Three Days of our visit were filled with events important for both sides. Scope of work we are doing is important for both countries. We were given the opportunity to talk with students and the academic staff, to get acquainted with the university facilities, to examine a number of roads around Belgorod. It should be noted that the roads are in good condition, each road having an individual passport. We are ready to share interesting technologies which maintain traffic safety. I was also impressed by your professors, people, having a wide scope of knowledge, very intelligent and creative. The university created a favourable atmosphere, which combines discipline and at the same time, a creative approach to problem-solving".

Dr. Hermann Meier zu Farwig went on with this opinion: "During the visit, I felt very comfortable at your university. I liked the warm and welcoming atmosphere around us.
Aziz Bourdane also shared his impressions: "Your university uses modern technology, not only in the academic process but also in ensuring safety and security in the campus, controlling the power distribution. Your students and professors are quite young. Communication with the students made a particular impression. All necessary conditions have been created for their harmonious development: they can play sports and learn diversified forms of art, be engaged in scientific activities."

Rector BSTU named after V.G Shukhov, Doctor of Economic sciences, Professor S.N Glagolev thanked the visitors for the high assessment given to the university, and assured that in the near future the university will make specific proposals for the development of cooperation with above German companies. In particular, Sergey Nikolaevich suggested the possibility of summer practice in road construction in German companies for our students .
