A Picture with the musicians in memory
During the academic year the Preparatory Faculty for foreign students of our university arranges theme nights to familiarize the students with the Russian folk culture as a part of the cultural adaptation program. Meeting with Russian folk music became a bright event in the lives of the preparatory students at a concert given by the orchestra of folk instruments "Velez". The event took place on November 9.
The concert included lyrical songs, limericks, classical works of Russian composers.
Soloists orchestra struck a beautiful and brilliant execution. Especially memorable was the performance of Tamara Kuznetsova in Russian folk song "Mama." From the first words of the song was clear and close to students from different countries. They just remember the chorus and repeated: "I will come to you, my mom, I'll come."
After the concert, the musicians were invited to the stage of our students, as guests of honor, and they are happy to try to play the balalaika, harp, accordion. At the end of the evening pleasantly spent foreign students took photos with the musicians of the orchestra "Veles".
