Professional retraining
Professional retraining takes place at the Institute for Retraining and Advanced Training. The institute is created by the decision of the Academic Council of BSTU in 1999 with the purpose of organizing and performing systematic training of management and engineering specialists of industries, due to the necessity of present time and prospects for the development of production relations. The main objective of the Institute is to improve the skills of the government, municipal and industrial staff, to train qualified specialists in the management, regulation, control, and prevention of harm from economic or other activities that may have a negative impact on the environment.
There are several needs that the Institute addresses at present. The need for qualified managers and specialists is becoming greater for the real sector of the economic, non-productive and social sphere. The need to address the crucial problems of creating and producing competitive scientific products in order to strengthen the economic independence and national security of the state, the need to reform the system and present a qualitatively new basу for advanced training, which is in constant development.
