Department for Control of Procurement and Logistics
The Department for control of procurement and logistics of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov was established on February 8, 2001.
Objectives
- To provide the university with all required materials for the educational process.
- Preparing and presenting the information and analytical materials on prospects for the development of procurement and logistics of the university.
- Participation in the preparation and execution of management decisions of the university administration within its competence.
- Improvement and introduction of new methods of work organization, including on the basis of modern information technologies.
- The solution of other tasks in accordance with the goals of the university.
Functions:
- Ensuring the organization of all necessary material resources of the required quality for its activities.
- Development of proposals on the rational use of material resources with a view to reducing the costs of their maintenance and acquisition.
- Search for opportunities and sources to cover the material and technical needs of the organization at the expense of internal resources.
- Preparation of the conclusion of contracts with suppliers, the coordination of conditions and terms of deliveries, studying of an opportunity and expediency of an establishment of direct long-term economic relations on deliveries of material and technical resources.
- Planning the procurement of goods, works and services.
- Exercise within its competence other functions in accordance with the goals and objectives of the organization.
